David is a seasoned marketing consultant and special event developer. He has coached and consulted with dozens of Nova Scotia entrepreneurs and companies directly and through the Business Development Bank of Canada, the Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education and the Centre For Entrepreneurship Education and Development providing strategic marketing, business planning and consultation services.
He has consulted with the owners of Fid Resto in Halifax since early 2009 to successfully re-brand the restaurant and continues to manage all of their marketing requirements. He has developed and managed events including: the Halifax Jazz Festival since 1995; was Project Director for the 2007 Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival; developed the 2005 and 2006 editions of the Halifax Harbour Festival in 2005; and the 2009 and 2010 Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle and Sculpture Contest event, the biggest single day event on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore.
Wendy is a seasoned, results oriented Communications professional with a twenty-year career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She managed the CBC’s Communications Department in the Maritime region for over 11 years and built a solid reputation for strong leadership and exceptional organizational skills. She has a proven track record for developing and delivering successful, strategic, full spectrum communications initiatives. She is accomplished in issues and crisis management, media relations, publicity, project management, brand management, stakeholder relations and internal communications.
